🚀 Getting Started

Creating Your Account

  1. Download Boply from the App Store or Google Play, or visit app.boply.io
  2. Tap Sign Up and enter your email and password
  3. Enter a display name (this is how your bandmates will see you)
  4. You're in! Start by creating your band or trying Demo Mode

Creating Your Band

  1. After signing up, tap Create Band
  2. Enter your band name
  3. You're now the admin! You can invite members, add shows, and manage everything

Inviting Band Members

  1. Go to Settings from the menu
  2. Tap Invite Members
  3. Share the invite link with your bandmates via text, email, or any app
  4. When they click the link and sign up, they'll automatically join your band

Try Demo Mode

Want to explore before committing? Select Try Demo on the welcome screen. You'll see sample shows, inventory, contacts, and polls so you can test all the features. No account required!

Adding a Show

  1. Go to the Calendar tab
  2. Tap the + button or tap on a date
  3. Fill in the details: venue, city, date, load-in time, set time, guarantee
  4. Set the status (Tentative, Confirmed, or Completed)
  5. Add contact info for the venue or promoter
  6. Tap Save

Tracking Income & Expenses

  1. Open any show from the Calendar or Timeline
  2. Scroll to the Finances section
  3. Add your guarantee/payout under Income
  4. Tap Add Expense to log gas, food, hotels, etc.
  5. Your profit is calculated automatically!

💡 Tip: You can also add general band expenses (not tied to a specific show) from the Dashboard.

Managing Merch Inventory

  1. Go to the Inventory tab
  2. Tap Add Item
  3. Enter the item name, category, cost, and price
  4. Add size variants (S, M, L, XL) with quantities for each
  5. Save the item

You'll get low-stock alerts when items are running low!

Using Sales Mode

Sales Mode turns your phone into a merch booth at shows:

  1. Go to Inventory and tap Sales Mode
  2. Select the show you're selling at
  3. Tap items to add them to the sale
  4. Select sizes when prompted
  5. Complete the sale — inventory updates automatically!

⭐ Sales Mode is a Pro feature.

Creating Band Polls

  1. Go to the Polls tab
  2. Tap Create Poll
  3. Enter your question (e.g., "Should we take this gig?")
  4. Add options for members to vote on
  5. Optionally attach show details
  6. Band members can vote from their devices

Storing Documents

  1. Go to the Documents tab
  2. Tap Add Document
  3. Upload a photo or file (contracts, stage plots, riders, etc.)
  4. Name the document and add notes
  5. Optionally attach it to a specific show

Exporting Financial Data

  1. Go to Summary from the Dashboard
  2. Select a date range
  3. Tap Export
  4. Choose CSV format
  5. Share or save the file for your records or taxes

Yes! Boply has a generous free tier that includes 1 band, up to 3 members, 50 inventory items, and access to the calendar, financial tracking, contacts, documents, and band polls. Pro ($7.99/month) unlocks unlimited everything, Sales Mode, exports, and removes ads.
Absolutely! Invite your bandmates via a shareable link. Everyone can see the schedule and stay in sync. Admins have full access to finances and settings, while regular members see the schedule without sensitive financial data.
Yes! You can view your data and make changes offline. When you're back online, everything syncs automatically.
Admins can see and edit everything: shows, finances, inventory, contacts, documents, polls, and settings. They can also invite new members.

Members can see the schedule, vote on polls, and view shared info — but they can't see sensitive financial details like guarantees and payouts.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
The free tier supports 1 band. If you're in multiple projects, Pro unlocks multi-band support so you can switch between them easily.
Email us at Contact@app.boply.io with your account email and request deletion. We'll remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Yes. Boply uses Firebase (by Google) for authentication and data storage. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
